Community Leadership Academy
Saturday, August 29, 2026, 10AM - 5PM
COMMUN1TY+
This free program is designed to equip residents and grassroots leaders with the tools, insight, and connections needed to lead with vision, equity, and collective power.
Hosted at the WISH Center at the Hybla Valley Community Center, the Academy will focus on personal leadership and healing, leading with others in solidarity, community advocacy, and asset-based community development. Participants will engage in guided reflections, panel discussions, and collaborative activities, all culminating in a celebration of community leadership and an Offers and Needs Market. Learn more.

Your voice matters in shaping the future of our community. The COMMUN1TY+ Quarterly Convening brings together residents, leaders, and partners to share, learn, and build together.
During the convening, you will:
Build intentional connections and network with community leaders and residents
Hear directly from youth leaders and community members about how they are creating impact via partnerships that are shifting systems
Collaboratively plan for future engagement and collective action
Experience time for healing, reflection, and meaningful relationship-building
Participate in our Community Exchange—a facilitated space to connect needs and opportunities
Receive COMMUN1TY+ updates on recent projects and initiatives
